Mr Wong, a specialist in artificial turf, did a great job installing his high-end Belgian turf at Bodmin Drive for my niece's house in 2016. It's been 10 years and the grass is still in excellent condition and looks like natural grass. The best advantage is that it is maintenance free.

Living screens in Singapore need constant cutting, they thin out wherever the sun does not reach, and they take years to close up in the first place. A hedge panel gives you the finished look on day one.
Chain link, mesh and railings offer no privacy at all, and painting them does not help. Panels fix straight onto the existing fence and close it up completely, without rebuilding anything.
Shaded corners, narrow planters and windy corridors kill living hedges slowly and unevenly. An artificial hedge is the same density top to bottom, in shade or full sun.
