Ten years on, still perfect.

Most turf reviews are written the week it goes down. This one was written a decade later, which is the only test that really matters.

Mr Wong, a specialist in artificial turf, did a great job in installing his high end Belgian turf at Bodmin Drive for my niece house in 2016. It has been 10 years, the grass is still in excellent condition and looks like natural grass. The best advantage is, it is maintenance free.

How we install for you

Our installation process.

Six steps, one accountable team, start to finish, bringing the FIFA-certified standard to your lawn.

FIFA★★2-Star standard
01

Free site assessment

We visit your space, measure up, check the surface and drainage, and recommend the right Namgrass build-up, then quote it, no obligation.

02

Ground preparation

We clear and level the area (or clean the slab), then compact a graded base built for Singapore's rain, the foundation that makes a lawn last.

03

Drainage layer

On hard surfaces and rooftops we lay VersiCell drainage cells so downpours clear in seconds and the waterproofing stays protected.

04

Shockpad (where needed)

For play areas we add a ProGame shockpad specified to critical fall height, a safe, cushioned surface for children.

05

Laying the Namgrass turf

We roll out premium Namgrass, cut it to your space, and join the seams invisibly for a seamless, natural finish.

06

Infill, finish & hand-over

We brush in infill where needed, power-brush the pile upright, clean up, and hand over a flawless lawn, backed by a 10-year warranty.

Access is half the job

Built for the installs others turn down.

The hardest part of a premium lawn often isn't the grass — it's getting tonnes of sand and turf to a rooftop or a walled garden with no lift and no easy access.

Sand over the wall. No side gate? We bring in a crane and swing the base material straight over the fence — tonnes of it — without touching the house.
Turf up the tower. Rooftop with no service lift? We rig and hoist the rolls up the shaft by hand and rope, safely, to reach terraces most installers won't quote.

This is why homeowners, condos and clubs come to us for the jobs that look impossible — the access problem is exactly what we're the experts at solving.

Creative and custom

We mix and match grass into patterns most installers cannot lay.

A lawn does not have to be one flat sheet of green. Because we supply and install as one team, we combine different Namgrass tones, pile heights and pile directions to build stripes, checkerboards, borders, numbers and even a logo straight into the turf. It is the kind of finish that turns a good install into a signature one, because it comes down to precise, hand-cut seam work that only an experienced installer gets right.

Design a custom pattern

Two-tone stripes

Alternating bands of two grass tones give a lawn depth and a groomed, sports field look, without a mower in sight.

Checkerboard squares

We cut and seam contrasting squares for a bold, geometric finish that suits play areas, event lawns and feature corners.

Borders and edging

We frame a lawn or a putting green with a contrasting fringe or a clean tan border, so the whole space reads as one designed piece.

Putting green blends

We pair a smooth putting surface with a longer fringe collar and cut the cup and contours in, so your green plays and reads like the real thing.

18

Inlaid logos and numbers

We inlay house numbers, court lines, crests and brand logos directly into the turf, with hand-cut seams that stay invisible.

These are pattern concepts to show what is possible. Send us a sketch or a reference and we will design and lay the real thing for your space. Read more in our guide to custom artificial grass patterns, or browse our signature projects.

Our measurement software

How we measure your area — and why our waste isn't a guess.

Most quotes measure your space, tack on a flat “5–10% for wastage,” and call it a day. It's quick, convenient — and a guess that you pay for. We calculate waste for your exact shape, with in-house software that plans the real roll layout before a single roll is ordered.

First — what “wastage” actually is

Artificial grass comes in rolls of a fixed width (ours are 2 m), and every roll has to run the same direction so the pile stays consistent and the surface looks seamless, with no visible joins. Your lawn, though, is rarely a perfect 2 m grid — it curves, it tapers, it has corners.

So when rectangular rolls meet an irregular shape, the overhang gets trimmed off — and that trim is wastage. You paid for that turf; it ended up as off-cut. Wastage is unavoidable, but how much of it you pay for depends entirely on how cleverly the turf is laid — exactly what a flat “10%” ignores.

Why a flat “5–10%” is a problem

A guess, not a measurement

Your shape might genuinely waste 6%… or 26%. A blanket percentage simply can't know which.

Wrong in both directions

Guess low on a curved area and the job stalls waiting for more turf. Guess high and you've overpaid for turf you never needed.

It hides inefficiency

If waste is just “10% added on,” there's no reason to lay it smartly. The customer quietly absorbs the sloppiness.

Our process, step by step

01

We verify the area first

We don't take the number on your drawing at face value — printed areas are often rounded or simply wrong. We measure it independently with our own software, scaling from a known dimension on the drawing (a labelled length, or a standard 300 mm paving tile), then measure the turf zone two different ways to bracket the true area. Only when those agree do we lock in the figure.

02

We plan the real roll layout

We divide your verified shape into strips the width of a roll (2 m), running one consistent direction, and work out how far the turf reaches across each. Add those up and you get the gross turf laid; the difference from your actual area is the real, measured wastage — for your shape, not a textbook average.

03

Our in-house software finds the best fit

See our estimator software

There's more than one way to lay the same lawn — the rolls can run one way or the other, and start from the wide end or the narrow end — and each produces a different amount of waste. Our software works through the combinations, calculates the wastage for each, and lands on the layout that wastes the least. On a rectangle the difference is small; on a tapered or curved shape, the best-fit layout can waste roughly half what a careless one does.

04

A precise, roll-by-roll cutting plan

Instead of a vague “buy X square metres,” you get an exact plan: N full rolls plus one part-roll of a stated length, and which rows of your lawn come off which roll. You buy precisely what the job needs, not rounded-up guesswork.

A quick illustration

Same lawn. Half the waste.

A simple, made-up example to show how the method works — not a real project. Picture a gently curved 100 m² lawn. Because of its shape, the way the turf is laid changes how much ends up as off-cut.

Laid the less efficient way
~20%
wastage
Optimised, best-fit way
~10%
wastage

Every project is different. The real figure depends on your shape, size, edges and access — a long thin border or a tight curve always wastes more than a simple rectangle. These numbers are illustrative only, never a fixed rate. We measure and optimise the real number for your specific space, every single time.

What this means for you

We've done the maths — for your exact space.

A flat “20%” is what you say when you haven't done the maths. Every figure in our quote is measured and explainable — the kind of number architects, developers and tender submissions can rely on.

  • An accurate quote — no padding, no nasty shortfall mid-install.
  • Lower waste, lower cost — you're not paying for turf destined for the bin.
  • Full transparency — we can show you the layout plan and the exact waste figure, not a mystery lump sum.
  • Defensible numbers — measured and explainable, for professionals who need to justify every figure.

Have a drawing or a rough plan?

Send it over and we'll run a verified take-off — your true area, the best-fit layout, the real wastage and a precise roll plan — before you commit to anything.

After we install

Engage us as your installer and the service does not end at handover.

When you buy from a supplier and hire someone else to lay it, a problem later becomes a finger-pointing exercise. When one team supplies and installs your lawn, there is one company to call, and we stand behind the work for years, not weeks.

We come back for repairs

If your lawn is ever damaged, we return to fix it, often on the same day, so a burn or a tear is sorted before it spreads.

Small fixes, no fuss

A patch repair on a lawn we installed is not a whole new job. We look after our clients, and small touch-ups are handled with good grace.

We leave you extra grass

We hand over matching off-cuts from your own roll, so future repairs blend in perfectly and you have turf spare for a small project of your own.

“It has been 2 years since my installation and the grass remained thick, luscious and natural looking. Recently I accidentally burned a hole in my grass. The owner, Mr Wong, personally came back to replace the patch on the same day and it was good as new again. He did not charge me for the repair. The company also gave me extra grass for future repairs and for my own small project. Top quality grass with great service.”

Installation questions

Artificial grass installer FAQ.

How much does artificial grass installation cost in Singapore?

It depends on the turf grade, area, base preparation and drainage, so we don't quote flat rates. We arrange a free site assessment, measure up, and give you an exact, no-obligation quote.

How long does an artificial grass installation take?

A typical residential lawn takes one to a few days depending on size, access and base work. Large or rooftop projects with drainage build-up take longer. We confirm a schedule after the site assessment.

Can you install artificial grass over concrete, decking or a rooftop?

Yes. Over a drainage-cell base we install on concrete, paving, balconies and rooftops, keeping the surface level and free-draining while protecting the waterproofing beneath.

Do you supply and install, or just install?

Both. We're an authorised Namgrass supplier and install with our own dedicated team, so one company is accountable from supply through to handover, backed by a single 10-year warranty.

Is the artificial grass safe for children and pets?

Yes. Namgrass is EN 71-3 certified, lead-free and toy-safe, and drains quickly so it stays clean and hygienic for kids and pets.

Can you create custom patterns, stripes or a logo with artificial grass?

Yes. Because we supply and install as one team, we combine different Namgrass tones, pile heights and pile directions to lay stripes, checkerboards, contrasting borders, numbers and inlaid logos, all with hand-cut, invisible seams.
