What it is

The void that keeps water moving

Interlocking cells create a continuous drainage void under the turf or soil. Water drops through, runs along the void to the outlets, and the surface stays level and usable, even after the heaviest storm. On hard surfaces this layer is what makes artificial grass work on slabs, balconies and roof gardens.

What are drainage cells used for?

They create a void beneath turf, soil or paving that channels water away fast and keeps the surface level, essential on concrete slabs, podium decks, balconies and roof gardens.

Will drainage cells damage my roof's waterproofing?

No, they protect it. The cells relieve hydrostatic pressure and let water flow freely to outlets, shielding the waterproofing membrane beneath.

How much load can they take?

VersiCell offers a compressive strength of over 80 t/m², strong enough for wheelbarrows and Bobcats during install, yet light enough to carry and lay by hand.
