Ten years on, still perfect.

Most turf reviews are written the week it goes down. This one was written a decade later, which is the only test that really matters.

Mr Wong, a specialist in artificial turf, did a great job in installing his high end Belgian turf at Bodmin Drive for my niece house in 2016. It has been 10 years, the grass is still in excellent condition and looks like natural grass. The best advantage is, it is maintenance free.

Our design software

Design your green with us — on our software.

We built our own proprietary putting-green design software — a tool no other installer in Singapore has — to shape breaks, tiers, speed and cup positions before a single roll is laid. Sit down with our team and design your green together on it, so what you picture is exactly what we build.

Proprietary tool

Our own in-house software, built for putting greens — you won't find it with any other installer in Singapore.

Design it together

Work alongside our team on the software — lay out contours, tiers and cups with us, and the people who draw it are the people who lay it.

See it before you build

Preview your green on screen before a single roll goes down, so you commit to a layout you've already seen and love.

Trusted at the highest level

A tour-quality green at home.

A real green is about roll. We shape the base for true, consistent speed, set proper cups and fringe, and lay a short-pile Namgrass putting surface that reads and rolls like the real thing.

A neat detail

How we hide the hole.

When you are not putting, the cup disappears — so the green reads as a flawless stretch of lawn with no black ring and no trip hazard. Here is how we do it:

  1. 1Flush regulation cup. A 108 mm cup is set dead level with the surface during the base build, so the rim never sits proud.
  2. 2A turf-topped plug. A removable insert finished in the same short-pile Namgrass drops into the cup, so the grass runs unbroken across the hole.
  3. 3Lift to play, drop to hide. Pull the plug and the cup and flag are ready in seconds; replace it and the green is a clean lawn for the kids or the party.

A bespoke design service

The green is won at the design stage.

Anyone can roll out flat green carpet and call it a putting green. A green that actually reads and rolls is designed — the breaks, the tiers, the speed and the cups are drawn around your space before a single roll is laid. That design craft is what sets our greens apart, and it is the rare part almost no other installer in Singapore offers.

Start a design

Shaped contours & breaks

We survey your space and design the base with real slopes, tiers and borrows, so every putt has a line to read — not a dead-flat mat.

Green-speed tuning

Choose the pace you like to practise on. We tune the pile, infill and roll so your green runs at a consistent, repeatable speed.

Cups, fringe & flags

Regulation flush cups, a shaped fringe collar and the option of a hidden turf-topped plug so the green doubles as flawless lawn.

Want extra contours or the cups moved?

If you'd ever like to add more contours and breaks, or change where the cups sit before we build or down the line. Just get in touch! We'll work through the design with you and reshape the green until it plays exactly how you want.

Work on the design with us

A designed green is a different product.

Because ours are custom-designed and shaped by hand, they cost more than a flat roll-out green and they play like the difference. You are paying for the design, not just the turf.

How a green plays

What actually makes a green roll true.

A putting green is engineering, not carpet. Four things decide whether a green reads like the real thing — and where the cheap ones fall down.

Green speed & the stimp

Green speed is measured on the Stimpmeter — the distance in feet a ball rolls off a set ramp. Tour greens run roughly 10–13; a comfortable home green sits around 8–10, quick enough to challenge without punishing every touch. We tune speed through pile height, infill depth and how tightly the surface is dressed and brushed, and set it to the pace you want to practise on.

Infill — and why plain sand fails

Infill weights the pile down and keeps the roll consistent. Ordinary building sand is the budget shortcut — its angular, uneven grains lock together and compact over time, so the surface hardens, drains slower and the roll turns dead and bumpy. We dress putting greens with rounded kiln-dried silica at a controlled depth: it stays free-flowing, supports the pile, holds speed and lets water through.

Contouring & the fringe

Break is shaped into the base, not faked in the turf. We sculpt humps, hollows and tiered pin areas into the sub-base so putts read real slope, then frame the green with a longer, darker chipping fringe that defines the edge and lets you practise short chips and run-ups onto the surface.

Cup setting

We set regulation 4¼-inch (108 mm) cups into the base at genuine pin positions — on the flat, never mid-slope — with the rim sunk flush so nothing catches the ball. Multiple cups give you varied lines and lengths, and our hidden-cup detail lets the hole disappear into a seamless lawn when you are not practising.

The green behind the Tiger Woods clinic.

We built the putting surface for Tiger Woods’ clinic at Marina Bay Sands. The same craft goes into every home green we shape. See the signature projects.

See the Tiger Woods clinic

A green is only as good as its roll.

Cheap greens roll dead and inconsistent because the base is wrong. We shape the sub-base for true speed and lay a proper short-pile Namgrass putting surface, backed by a 10-year warranty on the installed system.

Why cheap costs more

Not every turf rolls true.

The same five tests that separate premium turf from a budget roll apply to a putting surface, only the tolerances are tighter.

Common questions

Can you build a putting green at home in Singapore?
Yes. We design and install true-roll putting greens for gardens, rooftops and balconies, shaped to your space with the holes and contours you want.
Does it roll true like a real green?
We use dedicated short-pile putting turf laid over a precisely levelled base, so the ball rolls smooth and consistent, tuned to your preferred green speed.
How much maintenance does a putting green need?
Almost none — no mowing, watering or reseeding. An occasional brush keeps the surface running true.
Does it drain after rain?
Yes, it is free-draining over a compacted base, so it is puttable again shortly after a downpour.
What green speed (stimp) can you build?
Most home greens play best around a Stimpmeter reading of 8–10 — quick and true without being punishing. We tune the speed through pile height, infill depth and dressing, and can build faster for a club or practice area.
What infill do you use, and can I just use sand?
We use rounded kiln-dried silica at a controlled depth. Ordinary building sand is a false economy — its angular grains compact over time, hardening the surface and killing the roll. Rounded silica stays free-flowing, holds green speed and drains.
Can you build a rooftop or balcony putting green?
Yes. Rooftop and balcony greens are built on a self-draining base laid straight over the slab — no excavation — with falls set to shed water. They are a popular way to turn an unused terrace into a private backyard practice green in the city.
Can you shape breaks and a chipping fringe?
Yes. We sculpt breaks, tiers and pin areas into the sub-base so putts read true slope, and frame the green with a longer, darker chipping fringe so you can practise chips and run-ups. You can preview it all in 3D on our design software first.
