Yes. Quality Namgrass uses multi-tone fibres with a curled thatch layer that mimics a natural, slightly irregular lawn. Most guests and neighbours can't tell it from real grass.

Gardens, balconies, rooftops, poolsides, playgrounds, schools, offices, retail and sports pitches, on soil or over hard surfaces like concrete, decks and slabs.

It's ideal for it. UV-stabilised fibres resist fading in the sun, and a drainage-led build clears heavy monsoon rain quickly.

For most homes a 30–38mm pile looks most natural. A 25–30mm pile gives a tidy, low profile; 40mm+ looks very lush but needs a high stitch density to stand well. See our buying guide for detail.

Mainly the quality and weight of the pile, taller, denser turf with more stitches and better UV-stabilised fibres costs more. The installed price also reflects the base, drainage, area and access.

For homes, balconies and indoors, non-infill turf is cleaner and softer. Sand infill is mainly for sports surfaces where fibres need extra support.

Yes, over drainage cells (or a suitable base) it works on concrete, paving, balconies and rooftops, staying level and free-draining while protecting the surface beneath.

The base is graded to fall and the turf's porous backing lets water through; on hard surfaces drainage cells carry it to outlets, no pooling for mosquitoes, and usable within minutes of rain.

Hose it down. The free-draining backing lets water and pet waste pass straight through. Brush high-traffic areas occasionally and clear leaves to keep it draining freely.

Correct, no mowing, watering, weeding or feeding. A few minutes of brushing and rinsing now and then keeps it looking right for years.
