At PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ 101 Woodlands, the whole roof of this two-storey childcare centre becomes a play deck. We supplied and laid premium Namgrass across it, a soft, all-weather green surface that turns a bare concrete rooftop into a safe garden playground high above Woodlands Street 13.

The centre was designed around a simple idea, that young children need regular doses of green to learn and play well. With the ground floor tight for space, the whole roof was turned into the school’s garden playground.
A bare concrete roof deck is hot, hard and unforgiving. Our job was to make every surface up there soft, safe and green, and to keep it that way through sun, monsoon rain and hundreds of small feet, all year round.
